How long will the course last and what happens when the session ends?

This is a four-week self-paced course. You can begin with any week and with any topic of your choice.  After course ends, you can access the course materials but you will not be able to participate in discussions.

How do I participate in discussions?

Go to the discussion forum of your choice – Weekly Discussion Forums or the Help Forum. 

You will see a ‘reply’ box on the page (as shown below). Click on Reply.

You will see text box on the page. Type in your comments and hit Post Reply. 

How do I get the Certification of Participation?

You will be awarded Certificate of Participation for taking this course. Download the certificate by clicking on the link on each week page, enter your name and print or save it on your computer for your record. 

Whom do I contact for questions?

It is recommended that you go through the Frequently Asked Questions first. If your question is still unanswered, please comment in the Help Forum and you will get a reply within 48 hours.

What are the supported browsers for Canvas?

Is there any mandatory requirement in this course?

No, all course activities – readings,  videos, self-learning quizzes and weekly discussions, are all self-paced and recommended activities. 

Can I be taken out of the course?

All participants are expected to follow proper netiquettes when participating in any of the discussion forums. You will receive a warning for any inappropriate posts which includes

• personal attacks on other participants,
• use of disrespectful language,
• spamming or use of the forum to propagate any personal interest or advertisement.

If such posts continue,  you will be removed from the course.

Is Canvas Accessible?
