If you are ready to take the leap into launching a Fan Page, here are the directions. Again, you don't have to create a Fan Page. The activities required in this course revolve around observing successful fan page activity. Regardless of whether you start a page, please do learn about how to launch a fan page so that you'll be informed about the process and policies.

The features and policies around fan pages shift every couple months, so it's important to go right to the source for accurate information. Play close attention the the terms of agreement. Facebook does not allow you to run certain types of contests on a Fan page. I'm sure you've seen promotions where every person who likes the page gets entered into a drawing for some kind of prize, but these are not actually legal.
