W1.2 Crafting Your Social Media Presence

Crafting Your Social Media Presence

Who are you online?

Start a folder or document for yourself called "Social Media Assets"  In this space, you will want to collect the images, bios, resume info, and other artifacts that make up your public digital life.

  • headshot: at least one square headshot that can be used for online profiles
  • illustration: you may also want a comic or illustration avatar to use when you don't feel comfortable using a real image of yourself
  • short bio: for use when the number of characters is severely limited (see description below)
  • long bio: for when you have a little more space to maneuver
  • hyperlink collection: all the links to your public web presence

Write a long bio that helps people understand ...

  • What is your expertise and experience in these fields?
