We Live In Public

The film, We Live in Public chronicles the rise and fall of Josh Harris Links to an external site., an Internet pioneer in the 90's.  Harris founded Pseudo.com Links to an external site., the first Internet television network, in 1993. In 1999, at the turn-of-the-millennium, he funded a strange experiment called “Quiet” in an underground bunker in NYC where over 100 people lived together on camera for 30 days. By "on camera" I mean that every inch of the bunker was filmed, from the bathrooms to the bunks.  Soon after, Harris would file for bankruptcy.  But with the Quiet experiment, Harris proved (rather creepily) how we would willingly trade our privacy for social connections and . As you watch, keep a journal of your thoughts and quotes that resonate in the current state of social media from the participants in Quiet.
