Thank you for joining this Digitally Enhanced Learning & Teaching course. In this course we explore the what it means to be both a teacher and a student in the digital age, and how we can best deploy the new opportunities that digital technologies bring, both to online and on campus learning and teaching.

As this is an open course , those of you choosing to take it might come from a wide variety of backgrounds. In designing the materials I have made an assumption that course participants will already have an understanding of educational delivery, and the theories that underpin adult learning and teaching.

Getting Started

Please take some time getting used to the site. There is Getting Started section that contains more information on the Course Guide. It also contains information about what is expected of you as a participant. There is also information provided by the Canvas team about how to use the Canvas site and the various tools you will find here.

The Main Menu Collapses into horizontal lines at the top of tnhe page, once you open up the menu, you should see: Home | Announcements | Modules | Discussions | Chat

We will use the Announcements section to keep you updated with important news as the course progresses. As well as a general Discussion board, there will be discussions associated with most weeks. Each week is a Module, and you will find details of the six modules in this section.
