Universal Design for Learning - Real World Applications
In Week 3, you became familiar with Universal Design for Learning concepts. This week, we hope to bring these concepts to life, by providing you with real-world examples from instructors who use the principles of UDL.
Please view the Faculty Interview on UDL (3:48) and Faculty Thoughts on UDL (1:53) videos to hear perspectives on Universal Design for Learning from faculty experts who use the principles in their teaching. Using the principles of UDL is beneficial for students, but as you'll learn, designing universally also benefits instructors. And, as Dr. Baum says, if you have buildings that are accessible to all students, the learning has to be accessible to all of them as well.
