A Note on Required Texts

We are currently using  Charles Stangor's open textbook for Intro Psychology as a base for the readings.  Students taking the full course for credit may want to buy the Flat World Knowledge Study Pass Links to an external site. for this text, extremely cheap at about $20.

We supplement with other sources as well. All the readings are online. They are also editable -- so if you are a course designer or Subject Matter Expert and something in them rubs you the wrong way, go ahead and edit (but leave a note at the bottom of the page edited saying that you made edits, and roughly specifying why -- clarity, errors, necessary additional coverage, etc).

Many instructors may want to supplement the main text and the lectures with additional in depth readings. 

We've also added a behavioral genetics thread as an example of a thread that can be used to deepen knowledge by raising interesting questions in a more specific, focused domain.
