Welcome to the Using Educational Technology in the English Language Classroom MOOC.

This MOOC is provided by Iowa State University, as part of the American English (AE) E-Teacher Program. This program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, with funding provided by the U.S. government, and administered by FHI 360.

This course is designed to prepare TESOL professionals to integrate language learning tools into their English language teaching. Participants will become aware of free technological tools, learn how to use these tools for language learning and teaching, and evaluate the appropriateness of a technology tool for their specific contexts.

This course will be open from February 10 – July 27, 2020, and includes an orientation module at the beginning. This module is not mandatory, but it is recommended as a way to learn about how to use Canvas, how to request support, and how to earn a certificate.
