Thank you for joining the InventEUrs GlobalChangemakers course. In this course, we explore what it means to be both a teacher and a student in the digital age, and how educators can design creative learning experiences based on connecting students from different schools and promote the co-creation of digital projects related to the Sustainable Development Goals. As this is an open course, those of you choosing to take it might come from a wide variety of backgrounds. However in designing the materials we have made an assumption that course participants will already have an understanding of educational delivery, and the theories that underpin learning and teaching within a school context. The entire course lasts six weeks.

Getting Started

Please take some time getting used to the site. There is a Getting Started section that contains more information on the Course Guide. It also contains information about what is expected of you as a participant. There is also information provided by the Canvas team about how to use the Canvas site and the various tools you will find here.

Getting Help

Need technical support with Canvas? Click on the word "Help" in the upper right-hand corner of your Canvas screen. From there, you will be able to search the Canvas Guides, ask a question, or suggest a feature.  

Need course content help? We encourage you to post first on the course General Discussions board. We will try to respond to questions on the General Discussions board within 48 hours Monday-Friday. The course runs on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

The Main Menu Collapses into horizontal lines at the top of the page, once you open up the menu, you should see:

We will use the Announcements section to keep you updated with important news as the course progresses. As well as a general Discussion board, there will be discussions associated with most weeks. The Course contains three module and we envisage you to complete a module over a two week period.
