Refresher - Conditional Probability

DEF: Conditional probability is the probability of some event A, given the occurrence of some other event B. Conditional probability is written P(A|B), and is read "the probability of A, given B".
P(A|B)=P(AB)P(B),
Similarly the conditional probability of B, given that A has occurred is given by: P(B|A)=P(AB)P(A)
