Week 3 Assignment

Completion of this assignment is necessary to attain your certificate of accomplishment. Please save an electronic copy of your work for submission at the end of this course as part of your portfolio.

Your assignment this week is to prepare an introductory video for your MOOC.

Estimated time needed: 1 hour

You may keep it as simple as you wish - even recording yourself with your phone will do -  but do try to keep in mind some of what you have learnt this week to get acceptable video and audio.

If you have access to the tools mentioned in the videos this week (or others), please do go ahead to try something more complex - you may make use of a green screen, include OER material etc. - there are no limits!

Tips for this assignment:

• Take some time to think about what you can do to ensure adequate sound and lighting for the video.
• If you are recording yourself, think about the background that will be seen in the video.
• Also prepare what you will say, to avoid difficult edits afterwards.
