Secondary Sources

In 2014, Dr. Bob Bain from the University of Michigan was a keynote speaker at the Ohio Council for the Social Studies Annual Conference.  During his talk about Historical Thinking and Disciplinary Literacy, he emphasized the importance of using primary sources and secondary sources in our documents-based lessons.  Secondary source documents are power tools for historical research and research simulations (aka DBQ's).
