This course has been created in order to allow a community of students and professionals to participate in free and open learning based on mutual support through the forums, which are open to everybody.

 

You are all are invited to participate actively in this course, by opening a personal Canvas account and by respecting the basic rules of courtesy and any applicable laws.

 

Rule 1 - Identity

Your personal details including your name, surname, and email address will be used to award your certificate to you; please do not use false details.

 

You can edit your details at any time by going to your dashboard and selecting Edit my profile.

 

Rule 2 - Behaviour

Do not post any content which:

  • encourages illegal activities
  • constitutes an insult, threat, or harassment to another person
  • does not respect the intellectual property rights of the author
  • could be seen as religious or political proselytising
  • is intended for publicity and/or commercial gain

 

Rule 3 - Property

Respect the intellectual property rights of everyone, and the rights of authors. Do not reproduce the content of the course or the work of other students. As a participant in this course, your work will be placed under licence CC BY-NC-SA

 

Rule 4 - Moderation

Moderators are present in the forums and they reserve the right to take down any content judged to be inappropriate, or to exclude participants who are not respecting this code or disrupting the progress of the course. If somebody is violating the rules set out in this code, please let us know by emailing us at mooc@essca.fr

 

Rule 5 - Use of data

When you use this MOOC, your data is registered. This includes your responses to questionnaires but also the pages which you consult. This data will not be used commercially, but some of it could be communicated to our technical providers, researchers, or the administration of the course providing establishment.


In the case of researchers, data will be provided for research projects. We will only provide researchers with the necessary data in anonymised form.
