What are your thoughts about using OER for your lesson materials? Consider the final project for this course. Your task is to design and develop instructional materials intended for Adult Education. Take a moment and ponder the following:

  1. Think back to Module 1. What barriers and opportunities exist for using OER in this Adult Education context?
  2. Think about the varieties of learning materials that might be available for Adult Education. What aspects of open licenses do you think empower Adult Education instructors and learners?
  3. Think about the distinction we presented earlier about the differences between Gratis and Libre. In the Adult Education context, is there a benefit that either Gratis learning materials have over Libre? How about the contrary?
