Integrating Faculty and Staff Roles (February 29 - March 6)
In Week 2, you will learn how you can help reduce barriers faced by students with disabilities. You will learn the difference between proactive course design and making accommodations. You will also analyze what individual and group efforts are necessary to create barrier-free learning environments given the complexity of and overlap between faculty and staff roles.

Assessment
As part of your peer review assignment you will be examining a scenario that includes some accessibility and accommodation concerns in order to identify who on your campus needs to come to together to improve the learning experience for the student.
Once you submit your assignment, you will review two of your peers assignments. Please review the section again on how Peer Review Assignments work. Successfully completing this assessment with an average of 80% or higher from your peers will enable you to earn the Week 2 Faculty and Staff Roles badge.
Week 2 peer assignment due by March 6 by 11:59 PM EST.
Peer reviews of 2 students work due one week later - March 13 by 11:59 PM EST.
