Prerequisites

You do not need any previous experience with accessibility to take this course. Everyone is welcome and the course is free! If you have never taken an online course using Canvas Network, it is recommended that you review the Canvas User Orientation page where you will learn how to edit your profile, set your notifications preferences, and much more. 

Time Commitment

Since this is a MOOC, you are free to participate however you wish. You may desire to complete all of the weekly activities in order to earn the badges or simply browse the resources. If you fully participate, it is estimated that it will take 3-4 hours each week.

Before beginning the course, you may want to review the wealth of information that Canvas provides for you to learn how to navigate the system and where to go for help and support. If you have questions about the course, you can post them on the General Course Content Questions forum. The forum is open to everyone, so another student or instructor may respond. This is the preferred method for asking questions, as everyone will benefit from the responses.
