Earn the Digital Citizen Badge
Throughout this course you will have the opportunity to earn digital achievements for demonstrating your proficiency in a series of course topics. Collect all of the achievements in this course to earn the Digital Citizen Badge. Once earned you may choose to display your badge on a digital portfolio or professional network such as LinkedIn as evidence of your successful completion of this course.
Badge Requirements:
- Successfully complete each of the weekly quests and challenges (Weeks 1-4).
- Review the work of two peers for each weekly assignment.
- Complete the assessments for the Information Ethics and Social Identity content badges (Unlock in Weeks 2 and 4).
- Complete the final assessment to earn the Digital Citizen badge.

Collecting and Unlocking Achievements
Each week you will be presented with an assignment in the form of a challenge. For each successfully completed challenge you will you be awarded a digital token representing your mastery of that particular topic.
When you first go to collect a badge you will receive the following message. Simply click Log In to allow the app access to your account so that you may collect your achievement.
Those who successfully earn each achievement will unlock the two content badges, Information Ethics and Social Identity, which if successfully earned, will advance you to the top level Digital Citizen badge. A final reflective piece will be required to earn the Digital Citizen badge.
