Opening Courses, Little by Little

Many of us, dissatisfied by the idea of just publishing course materials like OCW, have been trying to figure out how to make our courses themselves more open for several years. Since 2004 I have worked to make my courses more and more open each semester. In this (50 minute) video, I explain the context of open education in 2009 and my iterative attempts to date to make my courses iteratively more open.
