Module 3 Activity: Local Resource Directory
This activity is designed to get you to identify those local physical repositories that will be useful to you in your research. As we've heard, these repositories all collect different kinds of materials and offer different kinds of services. By completing the form embedded below, you will contribute to a crowd-sourced directory of local genealogy resources that can help everyone in the course find the best resources, no matter where their research takes them.
Instructions:
- Using a web search engine, locate one local repository that you think might be useful for your research.
- In the form below, list all relevant information about that repository. Try to be as accurate as possible.
- If you would like to contribute information about more than one repository, select "Submit another response" after you submit your first response. You can do this as many times as you like.
- To view the directory, click the link below. You can sort the directory alphabetically by state or type by selecting the drop-down arrow in the top row of each column.
- Please be respectful of the community.
