This course is a quick overview of Badgr, an open source platform for collecting, organizing and issuing badges. Badgr offers automatic badge awards in Canvas courses based upon module completion. This course will show you how to set up and award badges in Canvas. 

This is a self-paced course so you may work through at your own pace and return as desired. The Badgr Team will be monitoring the discussion board for questions or comments, but you can always contact them.

Prerequisites

This course is designed for beginner Badgrs, but anyone is welcome to enroll.

To Navigate the Course

  1. Move through each of the module activities sequentially using the "Next" or "Previous" button on the bottom of the screen.
  2. Complete any of the optional activities if desired.
  3. Earn a badge when you've completed all modules within the course!
