Associate Professor Nina Fotinatos, Federation University Australia
Associate Professor Nina Fotinatos is the Director of the Centre for Learning, Innovation and Professional Practice (CLIPP) within the Academic Portfolio at Federation University (FedUni) (since June 2014). She has experience in leadership, management, budgets, leading institutional projects and implementing institutional change focused on learning and teaching, student retention and professional development. Nina is the Project Lead for the SAGE Athena Swan FedUni Project (September 2017 - March 2019). She has held a number of faculty roles including the following: Biomedical Science lecturer (2009-2012), Senior lecturer (2012-2014), Associate Dean (Learning and Teaching, 2012-2014) and Acting Head of School (School of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare, Faculty of Health, FedUni, June 13 - August 14, 2016). Nina leads several leadership and mentoring activities across FedUni, and remains engaged with various research projects in the areas of leadership, management, academic student support initiatives, academic professional development and gender equity in higher education. She has gained institutional and national recognition in aspects of learning and teaching and plays a senior role regarding strategic direction and the provision of advice to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) regarding learning and teaching practice.
