Feedback action plan
It is important for students to appreciate what they can do with feedback. The level of ‘assessment literacy’ (Price et al., 2010) is key for students to understand the changes necessary to improve their future performance. You may like to include in your practice a feedback action plan (Race, 2010) to motivate students to utilise feedback and pay attention to particular aspects in future assessment/learning activities. The table in the PDF is one example. Further examples are provided on the websites indicated below.
