Course Overview

Week  1    Introduction and Overview of The Entrepreneurial Educator  #edupreneur Links to an external site.
  • Let's explore the concept of an entrepreneurial educator and why it is vital to classrooms of the 21st Century. Start your journey as an edupreneur here!
Week  2    Awakening Relevant Purpose
  • Learn about the importance of discovering your inner passions and how, in today’s world, you, as a unique individual can tap into your emotional, social, physical, spiritual and intellectual purposes and then align this relevant purpose with the external world.
Week  3   Becoming an Economic Unit of One
  • You are your own business. You are your own personal brand.  Today's fast paced and ever changing world demands individual attention to your assets--your passions, your vocation, and your external realities.

Week  4   Adaptability and Agility

  • More than most any other skill, the students and teachers of the 21st century need to have the ability to constantly deal with change and then then adapt and be what we term life agile.
Week  5    Rethinking Risk
  • The biggest risk in this day and age is to not take risks at all.  Taking risks allows us to fail, the greatest learning experience in the world, and to fail forward, so that we build up a tool set of experiences that allow us to gauge our risk tolerance, and to assess which risks are worthy, and those that are not.
Week  6    Building a Life Portfolio
  • Building a Life Portfolio is the direct result of ongoing self-exploration and internal/external alignment. Each of us must take our ongoing exploration and internal/external alignment to create and keep updating our Life Portfolio.
Week  7    Tying It Together & Continuing Your Learning!
  • Where do we go from here as educators?  Start a movement in your classroom and in yourself!
