Throughout this course, we will implement the use of several non-Canvas based systems as well. These are not required, but are strongly encouraged to immerse your learning in all that this course has to offer. This is also where course discussions between this and other/future courses will take place: giving learners from a wide range of interests the ability to interact and teach one another.

We may implement a Facebook Group or Website Forum page to allow students to communicate for duration longer than this class, so make sure to have an account if this is an interest. Also, if you are not yet familiar with how podcasts work...what rock have you been hiding under?! Just kidding. But in all seriousness, it is recommended you have at least one "pod-catcher" app on your mobile device (ex: Apple podcast, Overcast, Stitcher, Soundcloud) as several of our unit-optional assignments will include these resources. The web links will also be attached if you wish to listen to them on your computer.

Our content is in the Creative Commons, and does not require attribution if used for non-commercial, educational purposes. Our presentations may be downloaded on our website for your own use. If you wish to have access to editable presentations contact us for availability.

We understand there are technical and typographical mistakes throughout the lectures. Some we are aware of, some not. If you are the type to report these, thank you for your efforts! However, to prevent a potentially large influx in comments it would be best to takes notes and only report them at the end of each module. This will make it much easier to monitor potential edits for future courses.

Lastly, we hope you enjoy our content. If you do, please like/friend/share/tag or whatever else you do in social-media land our pages so that we may reach a greater number of learners! If you don't use social media, word-of-mouth is the real best form of flattery.
