Getting started with policy and strategy
Over the next week or so, we will spend time discussing policy and strategy around learning analytics. What we will discover quickly is that, in spite of enormous quantities of educational data collecting by governments and institutions, the policy landscape is limited and many organizations are still at the early stages of developing analytics strategies.
We'll turn to the healthcare field and the public service field to consider two reports that are advocating for systemic design and deployment of learning analytics. We will use these documents as a framework for our discussions and evaluate what insights we can apply to educational contexts.
