Lesson 5: Can Creativity Heal? Art Therapy and Positive Psychology Practices

In this lesson, we will investigate the role of art in healing. First, we will look at how art can help those suffering from a clinical mental illness by exploring theories and applications of art therapy. In fact, we will also discover what it takes to become an art therapist. In addition, we will review different ways art can heal in non-clinical populations and conditions, such as stress relief, self-discovery and self-esteem.
