Module 3: Introduction
Consulting & Critique
With assessment, it’s important to provide consultation or critique in order to ensure efforts are intentional and designed in a way to maximize use of data. Because a strong foundation is important for assessment, much of your consultation and critique will be of learning outcomes and method or project design. One should not select method or approach without knowing first what should be measured, further reinforcing the importance of learning outcome articulation for statements and shaping of assessment approach.
We hope the resources and content increase understanding and familiarity with consulting and critique of assessment efforts.
