Week 2 of Tell Your Story in English is about planning your story

If you haven’t already completed Week 1, please look at it before you begin Week 2.

Last week you read three short stories. This week you will read one longer story. It might be the longest story you have ever read in English!

This week you will write an outline of your story using the elements of a story you studied last week. How exciting – you are starting your story now. In three weeks you will finish it!

By the end of this week, you will share your outline with others in the course. You can get great ideas from reading other people's outlines. Ask questions about your classmates’ stories and answer their questions about your story. The more you write and tell others about your ideas, the more you will learn. Enjoy!

Think about the Elements of a Story we have discussed: characters, setting, and plot (including lead up, climax, and resolution), and make a plan for your story.
