Week 2 Introduction

The main objective in this module is to help you to select the tools you need for your MOOC project.  We will be concentrating mainly on tools for creating video content (software and hardware), and also looking at the use of webinars for MOOCs.

We will be very pleased to hear your views on the tools discussed in this module, and any others you may have used.

By the end of the week, you should know how to:

  • Assess various technological tools to develop your MOOC
  • Discuss the use of webcasting and webinars for MOOCs
  • Decide on the hardware and software you will use for your MOOC

  • For certificate of completion: 1 hour 45 mins required + 30 mins optional. 
  • For certificate of accomplishment: 2 hours 15 mins  required + 30 mins optional.
