Module 6: Goals and Outcomes

Goals

During this module students will:

1. reflect upon reading as a way of knowing, and
2. reflect upon reading as a means of experience.

Outcomes

Upon completing this module, students will be able to:

1. analyze and research errors in grammar, mechanics, or style, 
2. report on a personal grammatical, mechanical, or stylistic problem,  
3. identify and describe ways to read more carefully and critically,
4. apply analytical techniques and  interpretive strategies to written work,
5. assess and respond to the reading experiences described by others, and
6. leverage new insights on reading to plan and draft an essay on reading.
