They Died With Their Boots On (1941)
This feature film takes romantic liberties with the career and marriage of the infamous General George Custer. Released just after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, Raoul Walsh's They Died With Their Boots On was a box office sensation. Three men are said to have died during the filming of the final cavalry charge.
