Methods for Compliant Content Creation (March 21 - 27)

During Week 5, you will learn about the most commonly used methods for creating compliant learning content. These methods are based on the Section 508 standards and the WCAG 2.0 AA guidelines.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this week participants will be able to:

  • Analyze a resource using the Section 508 standards and WCAG 2.0 Level AA guidelines applicable to creating accessible courses.

Learning Activities

This week we have approximately 3-4 hours of learning activities. This includes content that you can read, watch, and/or listen to, as well as a quiz and a discussion forum. The primary activities are:

  • Short readings
  • Videos
  • Quiz
  • Discussion forum

Assessment

The assessment is to complete a quiz on the content covered. Successfully completing this quiz with an average of 80% or higher will enable you to earn the Week 5 Content Compliance badge.
