Instructions

We're constantly reminded of the need for teamwork to solve problems in our increasingly connected world. Yet there are certainly times when working alone is not only the easiest way to accomplish a task, it also produces the best result. The approach you take should depend on the nature of the task and an understanding of yourself. For me, writing a first draft or coming up with an initial idea needs to be an individual project. But when it comes to improving something, I find that 30 minutes of discussion with the right people can save me hours of individual work (and lead to a better product). In this module you will apply techniques to take advantage of different perspectives and skills in a group; and evaluate whether tasks are more appropriate for individual or for group work.
